We follow all laws under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, which protects nesting birds. Nesting may occur between mid-February and mid-August, and if we spot active nests, we’ll delay work until it’s safe to proceed.

There’s no specific height limit in law, but under the High Hedges section of the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003, neighbours can apply for a complaint if a hedge affects light or enjoyment of their home. We’re happy to advise if this may apply.
